Stinking Thai Politics
I have never imagined that Thai politics could have become this messy. The headlines of almost every newspapers in Thailand were focused on the story of a mysterious biker throwing bags of human waste and fermented fish into the compound of Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva’s private residence. In the wake of political tension, different items, such as large firecrackers and home-made ‘Ping Pong’ bombs, are used by unknown parties as a means to express their objections towards another or to instigate chaos. But the use of human excrement is rare. The most recent incident I recall was back when someone flung bagged feces into Government House during the People’s Alliance for Democracy’s siege.

It’s easy to see how people are puzzled by it. Not only the funeral can be viewed as sheer inappropriateness but what is so disconcerting is how extremely misguided the woman in question to hold dear an inanimate object as her own flesh and blood.
From a Bomb Scanner to A Miracle Potion

But hearing her say that the potion is not a medicine so it need not be examined by the Food and Drugs Administration or deemed as illegal made me think of the illogical and contrived reasoning of some politicians.
